
Sunil Kanchi
Sunil Kanchi serves on the board of Wissen in its next phase of growth with special focus on Engineering and strategic partnerships. Sunil is the founder CEO of Kanchi Capital, which is a VC fund focusing on disruptive technology enabled startups. Sunil is also the founder CEO of KT2i an innovation & cost optimization focused IT enabled strategic consulting firm. From 2014 to 2024, Sunil served both as Chief Information Officer and Chief Investment Officer for UST, where he led IT and digital transformation and was also responsible for mergers and acquisitions, corporate venture capital, and partnerships. Sunil founded Kanchi Technologies in 2009 and successfully exited in 2014 when it was acquired by UST. Previously, Sunil served in various roles at Rockwell Automation, PTC, and Larsen & Toubro. In 2013, the Milwaukee Business Journal named Sunil one of its “40 Under 40” business leaders to watch. He is a certified Lean Master and Six Sigma Green Belt. Sunil holds a Bachelor of Technology degree from the College of Engineering, Trivandrum, a Master of Science from Wichita State University, and a Master of Business Administration from Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
